Az Theatre is building a team to work on our HERE THERE EVERYWHERE project.

Theatre for Everybody will be presenting 15 performances of their world premiere stage version of Tolstoy’s War and Peace to audiences in Khan Younis and Gaza City. Over 1500 people will be involved in the performances that will be oriented towards young people and accompanied by public discussion.

Meanwhile in London Az Theatre will create a live events space, hosting films, videos, panel discussions, music, dance, spoken word, and direct skype exchanges with groups in Gaza.

We need volunteers to work with us until late September when the events will take place.

If you have creative flair, organisational ability and a passion for justice, you can join our team. Your involvement will be a half-day a week over the next 22 weeks. We already have people working on Trades Union liaison, Academic co-ordination, Public Relations and Communications

This project is the latest phase in a ten-year (2009-2019) cultural exchange project between Az Theatre (London) and Theatre for Everybody (Gaza)

“HERE, THERE & EVERYWHERE will tune in to differences and similarities between UK and Palestine and focus on ‘war on terror’, the ‘international civil war’ in which so many of are implicated, look at the relationship between ‘war-producing’ societies and ‘war-receiving’ societies. This space will be co-created by our partners in Gaza, Palestine.”
